The Vietnam Green Fund is carrying out a program to build rural bridges in Cu Jut district, Dak Nong province, and give to the ethnic minorities living on the Serepok riverbanks.
Meaning: These constructions not only help the daily transportation for local people easier and safer, but also support the development of Green tourism for the community and environment; supporting the environmental protection in the core of Serepok forest.
Message: “Bridges from Thousands of Hearts”.
Project Summary:
The project of building bridge across the Serepok River is invested by the People’s Committee of Cu Jut District, Dak Nong province; Madame Do Lien and the Vietnam Green Fund will carry out the funding through the Rural Bridge Program of Rural Vietnam Magazine.
The Loving Leaves program of VTV24 – Vietnam Television is both companion and media sponsor.
According to the Organizers; in order to call for helps from the community, the Project receive all contributions to build bridges from the minimum of only 5,000 VND and unlimited funding.
From the perspective of an Environment Fund, this is not only a simple story of a few bridges for a local but also the life of many people in a large area with a need for transportation, trade and civil, cultural light. Therefore; even with the smallest contribution of 5,000 VND – “small amount, big gesture”, the Fund look forward to receive the support from everyone, so that this ” Bridges from Thousands of Hearts” project will be a gift for the people of the Central Highlands.
The project “Bridges from Thousands of Hearts” will conduct these two fundraising and constructing activities side by side so that the people will have the very first new bridge in the rainy season of 2020.
